Equal Honor comes with all of the essentials you need to create characters and start your campaign. This example is from the Character Creation Guide.
The Character Creation Guide has three modes that the gamemaster can choose from for their players to build their characters in. Legend Mode starts players with any equipment they want. Skirmisher Mode is the standard Equal Honor mode where players can choose from a limited pool of equipment to start with. And lastly, Skeleton Mode starts players with no equipment.

Alterreal is the fictional world that Equal Honor’s canon lore is set in. Equal Honor comes with the map visualized here, as well as maps for each nation giving geographical data in the form of sectional biomes. The current maps are left unpopulated for gamemasters to fill with their Equal Honor story, but VanguardTabletop campaigns will come with their own pre-populated maps.
